Airbrush Experiment!

It's salmon season in Alaska!  Here is my attempt at airbrushing a slippery silver, but it turned out looking a little more like a catfish!

Wedding Shower Cake (shipped!)

I was very impressed with Ni's wedding shower cake and decided to make one to FedEx to my friend in Iowa for her bridal shower.  BeNi Cakes is looking forward to making her wedding cake in August!

Rex a saurus Toy Story Birthday Cake!

Happy 3rd Birthday to Michael!  Here are some pictures of his Toy Story Rex cake that was a delish vanilla cake with whipping cream and fresh strawberries filling.  It had a little buttercream frosting and marshmallow fondant too.  Rex was made out of rice krispies and covered in fondant.  He had to be yummy!

And in case you were wondering what Rex is supposed to look like...

Cesia's Cake

Cesia's 1st birthday isn't until June 26, but this cake is already in her mom's freezer! Since the "tia" won't be around for her birthday, I made it ahead of time and froze it. Hopefully all goes well with the thawing!Feliz dia, Cesia!
Cherry chip cake with marshmallow fondant and buttercream decorations.

BeNi does flowers!

Tomorrow is Dan's birthday and I always* give his mom flowers on that day. It's my way of thanking her for giving birth to him and raising him to be a fine man. (He's getting a pumpkin pie, by request, for his big day tomorrow!)

* Okay, so the year after my first son was born I forgot until 6 months after Dan's birthday. Oops!

Wedding Shower Cake

A spectacular cake by Ni!  Buttercream frosting with a marshmallow fondant dress.  I love this design for a bride-to-be!

Mother's Day Cupcake Bouquets!

These are from Ni's kitchen...aren't they awesome?!  What mom wouldn't love to get a bouquet of flowers that are really cupcakes?
