Hello Friends!

Most of you know we have a new baby coming very soon and I am not taking any orders for a while.  With the need to travel to take them on tour (haha!) I am predicting no orders until June 2012.  Long time, I know!  Exceptions are possible if I'm home for a weekend, just email to check.  I won't know for sure until closer to the dates though.

I'm working on updating the blog with some serving size and pricing features to help figure out a consistent pricing for my cakes.  You will notice that cake prices have risen due to myself having a busier household and family time becoming more valuable.  BeNi is no longer in practice mode!  I am now comparable to other private bakers and do not wish to undercut their amazing talents.

I'm a Little Teapot!

Happy 3rd Birthday to my sweet girl!  I can't believe how fast she has grown up and how girly she is sometimes!  We had two parties, both tea parties, and thus the need for two cakes.  I think I have the teapot cake down now. 

First one was chocolate with vanilla bean buttercream and the second was strawberry cake with buttercream.  Both covered in marshmallow fondant and hand painted with color gels.

Tangled Tower Cake

My challenge for the weekend!  A big thanks to my husband who helped with the stand to get this tower to be super sturdy!  The bottom layer and the top are both chocolate cake with buttercream frosting and mmf, the tower is rice krispie treat covered in fondant.
