The giant cupcake cake meets the rose cake!

This cake was an experiment and was just in time for Señora Jarrin's birthday. (I experimented with marble fondant for her cake last year!) The swirly roses need a different frosting recipe, or maybe I just need to practice more. Either way, I think I'll be using my giant cupcake pan a lot more now!

Blue Dinosaur

A requested "blue dinosaur" birthday cake for 3 year old Olivia!  Buttercream frosting with a rainbow chip cake covered in marshmallow fondant.  Dinosaur is krispie treat covered in buttercream fondant.

Short Notice Soccer Cake

Start to finish time: just under six hours with an hour to spare before pick-up time! Now you know why my pentagons and hexagons are just a bit off. Hopefully the birthday boy won't mind (maybe he won't even notice!).

Our idea was good, but not using cake plates was not.

On a better note...it tasted yummy and was much enjoyed by the three birthday kids (myself being one of them)!
